I help local businesses improve their online presence, creating a memorable path for their users that enhances their IRL experience. When I’m not working on a client project, I’m finishing my UI specialization, scouting out fun new businesses to pitch, introducing new members to Prosper, or bartending.
Here’s what a typical day in your life looks like:
If I’m bartending the night before, I typically roll into the office at midday or later- I love having that flexibility.
At Prosper, I’m coordinating with clients and developers, working on my specialization assignments, going down research rabbit holes or catching up on day-to-day admin stuff.
What is the best thing about being your own boss (or working remotely)?
Flexibility and collaborating with super creative people! I love the variety from project to project, and learning the user psychology of previously unexplored fields.
I also love the freedom to make spontaneous travel plans!
What’s the worst?
Performance reviews (aka We Can Do Better!) can suck when you’re your own perfectionist boss 😛
Where did you work before you discovered Prosper?
I used Croissant to explore different neighborhoods, and found favorites like The New Work Project and Rough Draft.
Which is your favorite spot to work in Prosper’s Bushwick space?
At Prospers Bushwick space, I love finding a cozy corner with a good view of the room. My favorite thing is moving to a new spot when my concentration falters, so I’m quite mobile!
What does the word “Gowork” mean to you?
Get it did!
What do you hope to achieve in 2019?
I aim to finish my UI specialization and continue to integrate my side jobs, hobbies and local network into exciting new projects.
